Arbitration

Arbitration is the adjudication of a dispute by an impartial, knowledgeable, third party.

An arbitrator acts as a decision maker and writes a decision in the form of an award. The parties agree to be bound by the award after a hearing at which they are both afforded the opportunity to be heard.

The objective of arbitration is to provide a fair hearing and an informed, unbiased decision.
